Your new role:

As a Clinical Midwife with Beaudesert Maternity Services, you will provide advanced, woman-centred midwifery care across the maternity journey. Working autonomously within a collaborative multidisciplinary team, you will provide clinical leadership, support continuity of care and contribute to education, research and quality improvement.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide advanced, individualised care across antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal services.
- Lead clinical decision-making, care coordination and complex midwifery practice.
- Promote culturally safe, evidence-based and woman-centred models of care.
- Contribute to education, mentoring, research, quality improvement and clinical governance.

About you:

You are an experienced midwife with strong clinical judgement and a commitment to delivering safe, compassionate and culturally responsive care. You will bring advanced midwifery knowledge, collaborative leadership and a focus on empowering women and families throughout their maternity journey.

Skills & Experience

- Current registration as a Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Advanced clinical knowledge and experience across all areas of midwifery care.
- Strong assessment, care planning, problem-solving and clinical decision-making skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to education, evidence-based practice and professional leadership.

Beaudesert Hospital:

Beaudesert Hospital is a rural hospital in Queensland's Scenic Rim region with a rich history of healthcare that spans more than 120 years. We provide rural healthcare across a large geographic area south-west of Logan and the Gold Coast with patients who see us coming from Undullah in the north-west right down to the southern Queensland border. We offer services to adults and children, including 24-hour emergency care, maternity, mental, dental, allied health and outpatient clinics, minor surgery and palliative care.

We're a smaller hospital that offer hands-on training and support to our staff and students. As a secondary teaching hospital, we also have strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland. Our region is known for its scenery and rural charm and patients at the hospital receive care from our team, who are passionate about caring for their community.
