The Storeman is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse for Stores & Dispatch related duties. This role involves hands-on work combined with leadership responsibilities, ensuring smooth workflows, safety compliance, and maintaining high standards of customer service. This position is responsible for the following:

- Maintain high standards of productivity and workplace safety in accordance with applicable ISO requirements, while ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, instructions and guidelines
- Coordinate and communicate clearly as per the Work in Progress (WIP) schedule, ensuring resources are efficiently utilised to meet production outcomes & targets
- Demonstrate proficient computer skills to enable correct input, deciphering and analysing of relevant data and drawings
- Maintain and improve workflows to maximize productivity
- Raise non-conformance reports as necessary, taking corrective / preventative actions and verifying effectiveness
- Complete annual supplier reviews and maintain professional relationships with suppliers to drive positive outcomes in cost, quality, reliability and delivery performance
- Be able to work under limited supervision




- Monitor and complete final Quality Assurance checks on all job packs / outbound products and arrange cost effective freight for product/material shipment
- Proactively develop and maintain the skills, knowledge and qualifications required to meet the evolving responsibilities and requirements of the position
- Conduct regular toolbox talks and assist in training new team members
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory levels through monthly stocktakes and report any shortages or discrepancies
- Raise and report daily on open Purchase Orders
- Accept all inbound deliveries are correct against PO’s
- Prepare production job kits within set timeframes
- A proactive, hands-on approach to leadership, solid problem-solving skills, attention to detail with ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Maintain workplace, equipment and apparatus in a clean, safe and serviceable condition, ensuring all required calibrations are current and completed within specified timeframes
- Carry out other duties as directed

Due to the nature of this role, you may be required to work reasonable additional hours outside the standard hours. This may, at times, include monitoring, reading or responding to reasonable contact from managers, employees or third parties outside of the company.
