As our Talent Acquisition Partner, you will coordinate end-to-end recruitment processes, partner with hiring managers and support candidates through each stage of their journey. You will provide practical, informed advice while ensuring recruitment activities are timely, inclusive, compliant and aligned with the Institute's workforce needs.

About the role

The Talent Acquisition Partner plays an important role in delivering effective recruitment and onboarding support across the Institute.

You will manage recruitment activities from advertising through to appointment, providing high-quality advice and support to hiring managers, candidates and selection panels. You will also coordinate onboarding requirements to help ensure new employees have a welcoming, professional and well-organised commencement experience.

As a member of the HR Operations team within People, Culture and Transformation, you will work with stakeholders across the Institute and contribute to broader People and Culture initiatives that support workforce planning and continuous improvement.

The position is full time, ongoing and reports to the Senior People and Culture Business Partner.



Salary for this role aligns to PACCT 6 $89,415-$95,981 plus 12% superannuation.

What you'll do:

- Manage the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, from advertising through to appointment
- Develop job advertisements and provide advice on appropriate recruitment campaigns and advertising channels
- Guide hiring managers on interview planning, panel composition, shortlisting and selection methods
- Participate in interview panels and provide informed guidance to support fair, compliant and effective selection outcomes
- Coordinate candidate screening, interviews and reference checks
- Maintain professional and timely communication with candidates, hiring managers and panel members
- Manage recruitment systems, records and reporting requirements accurately
- Coordinate new employee onboarding, including contracts, documentation, equipment, system access and compliance requirements
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external recruitment partners
- Promote fair and inclusive recruitment practices that support a diverse workforce
- Identify opportunities to improve recruitment and onboarding processes and strengthen the candidate and hiring manager experience

What You'll Bring

- Demonstrated experience in contemporary recruitment, with a strong focus on candidate care
- Experience coordinating end-to-end recruitment and selection processes
- An understanding of contemporary human resources and recruitment practices
- Experience using HR information systems or recruitment platforms
- Strong digital capability, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to listen, guide and provide practical advice
- Strong stakeholder-management skills and the ability to build productive relationships
- High-level organisation and time-management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- A fair, objective and transparent approach to decision-making
- A high degree of integrity and a strong alignment with organisational values

Qualifications/Requirements

- A qualification in Human Resources is preferred but not essential
- A current and valid Working with Children Check
- A satisfactory National Police Check




- The ability to work across Box Hill Institute campuses and other locations as required
