The People & Culture Coordinator plays a key role in supporting leaders and employees across the full employee lifecycle. You will be responsible for key employee lifecycle activities, including recruitment, onboarding and offboarding, probation reviews and absence management. You will also support people initiatives that enhance engagement, wellbeing and compliance, while building strong relationships with employees across both the production floor and office.
Reporting to the People & Culture Manager, this role helps create a workplace where people feel valued, supported and proud of what they do.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide end‑to‑end support across the entire employee lifecycle from Recruitment to Offboarding.
- Prepare and issue employment related correspondence, including employment letters, probation outcomes, contract variations and other ER/IR documentation as required.
- Support all employees and leaders with general employee queries relating to employment conditions, policies and procedures.
- Take ownership of probation reviews and absence management discussions, ensuring timely coordination, documentation and follow-through with managers and employees.
- Maintain accurate employee records and escalate complex employee relations, grievance, disciplinary, performance, termination or legislative matters to the People and Culture Manager.
- Collaborate with the wider P&C; team to support initiatives that nurture a positive, inclusive culture that reflects PGD values and boosts employee engagement, retention and fosters a high-performance workforce.
- Maintain confidentiality and act with discretion at all times.

About You:
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business or related discipline.
- 2+ years demonstrated delivery experience as a People and Culture qualified
- Knowledge of Australian employment legislation and HR practices
- Experience in engaging with employees across different teams to facilitate People and Culture outcomes.
- Experience in FMCG manufacturing, or blue‑collar environments (highly desirable)
