We are seeking an experienced and leadership-driven Clinical Care Manager to oversee clinical governance and quality care delivery at our residential aged care facility in Toowoomba, QLD.
This is a permanent, full-time position offering set Monday-to-Friday hours, allowing you to maintain an excellent work-life balance while driving high-standard clinical outcomes for our residents.
Experienced Clinical Care Coordinators (CCCs) with strong clinical management experience looking to step up into a managerial capacity are strongly encouraged to apply!
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and lead the day-to-day clinical operations within the facility.
- Ensure full compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards, AN-ACC assessments, and clinical documentation guidelines.
- Lead, mentor, and support a multi-disciplinary clinical team including RNs, ENs, and Care Staff.
- Coordinate complex care planning, medication management, and incident response.
- Act as the key contact point for residents, families, GPs, and allied health professionals.
- Conduct regular audits and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.
Essential Criteria (Must Have)
- AHPRA Registration: Current, unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
- Aged Care Expertise:
Extensive background and proven track record in Australian residential aged care.
- Work Rights: Full, unrestricted Australian working rights Note: No visa sponsorship is available for this role.
- Clinical Leadership: Demonstrated experience in clinical management OR senior Clinical Care Coordinator (CCC) roles in aged care.
- Compliance Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards, AN-ACC funding model, and clinical governance framework.
