Delivery Driver (Early Mornings) - Casual - South Geelong

La Madre Bakery is an established wholesale artisan bakery based in South Geelong. Since ****, the team has produced handmade sourdough, artisan breads, pastries and sweet treats for cafés, restaurants and gourmet food retailers throughout Geelong, Melbourne and Country Victoria. They are known for quality products, dependable service and a supportive, hardworking team culture. Their products are made, packed and delivered seven days a week.
About the role
They are seeking a dependable Delivery Driver to join the team and complete early morning deliveries using a company-supplied van. This is a casual position offering a minimum of two to three mornings per week, generally from 5am to 9am. Additional weekday and weekend shifts may also be available. Approximately 12 hours per week.
Tasks and responsibilities
Load the delivery van and check orders before departure
Complete an allocated delivery run safely, accurately and efficiently
Provide friendly and professional service to customers
Complete delivery paperwork and promptly report discrepancies, delays or other issues
Collect empty bakery crates and keep the van clean and organised




Ensure customers' premises are left secure after each delivery
Requirements
A current Australian driver's licence valid in Victoria and a safe driving record
Reliable transport to South Geelong for a 5am start
Proven reliability, punctuality and dependability
Strong organisation and time-management skills
Ability to work efficiently and responsibly without direct supervision
A friendly and skilled approach when dealing with customers
Physical ability to safely load, carry and unload bakery crates and boxes
Previous delivery driving or customer service experience is preferred but not essential. International students are welcome provided they can work the required regular hours within their visa conditions.
