A-Grade Electrician - Join a Growing Electrical Company
Not looking for just another electrician — we're looking for someone who wants to grow with us.
Voltair Solutions is a growing Melbourne electrical company based in Preston, and we're looking for a qualified A-Grade Electrician to join our team.
We're building a company where good electricians are valued, quality work matters, the team backs each other, and people have the opportunity to progress as the business grows.
If you're tired of being treated like just another number and want to join an ambitious company where your contribution actually matters, this could be the move for you.
THE ROLE
This isn't a position where you'll be doing the exact same thing every day.
Our work is diverse and includes:
Electrical service and maintenance
Commercial and residential electrical works
Fault finding and troubleshooting
Switchboard upgrades
EV charger installations
Lighting and power installations
Air conditioning and associated electrical works
Renovations and shop fit-outs
Working directly with builders, businesses, facilities managers and homeowners
You'll be trusted to manage your jobs professionally, communicate with clients and deliver the standard of workmanship we expect from the Voltair name.
WHY JOIN VOLTAIR?
We want to create the kind of electrical company that good tradespeople actually want to work for.
That means:
Variety of work
No getting stuck doing the same repetitive work every day.
Opportunity to grow
We're an expanding business. As we grow, there will be opportunities for the right people to step into greater responsibility, leadership and supervisory roles.
Your work gets recognised
You won't disappear into a workforce of 50 electricians. If you perform well, we notice.
Good team environment
We want people who work hard but can also have a laugh and enjoy being part of the team.
Autonomy and trust
We don't want to stand over good tradespeople. You'll be trusted to manage your work, solve problems and represent the company professionally.
Fully equipped work vehicle
You'll have the tools and equipment needed to get the job done properly.
Growing company
You'll be joining at an exciting stage of the business with the opportunity to grow alongside it rather than simply filling another position.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We're looking for someone who takes genuine pride in being an electrician.
You'll ideally be:
Victorian A-Grade Licensed
Experienced in service, maintenance and installation work
Confident fault finding
Able to work independently
Comfortable dealing directly with customers
Reliable and organized
Safety focused
Proud of your workmanship
A good communicator
Someone who looks for solutions rather than problems
Someone who wants to be part of a team and contribute to where the company is heading
Most importantly,
attitude matters to us.
We can help someone develop their skills. What we can't teach is reliability, pride, work ethic and the willingness to be part of a team.
WHAT'S ON OFFER
Market-competitive salary / hourly rate based on experience
Company vehicle
Fuel card
Uniform provided
Overtime opportunities
Varied electrical work
Supportive team workplace
Long-term, secure full-time position
Real career progression as Voltair continues to grow
THIS ROLE WILL SUIT YOU IF...
You're a good electrician who wants to be trusted to do your job.
You enjoy solving problems.
You care about the finished product.
You want to work alongside people who take their work seriously without taking themselves too seriously.
And you're looking for somewhere you can build a future — not just collect a pay cheque.
