Warehouse Pick & Pack / Despatch Officer
You will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of warehouse picking and despatch, including picking and packing customer orders accurately, preparing orders for dispatch and coordinating freight, loading and unloading stock, operating a forklift, checking stock and ensuring orders are dispatched correctly, maintaining an organised, clean and safe warehouse, receiving and putting away incoming stock, managing day-to-day warehouse despatch independently, working closely with the sales and office teams to ensure customer orders are processed efficiently, and ensuring warehouse procedures and safety requirements are followed.
Key responsibilities
Picking and packing customer orders accurately
Preparing orders for dispatch and coordinating freight
Loading and unloading stock
Operating a forklift
Checking stock and ensuring orders are dispatched correctly
Maintaining an organised, clean and secure warehouse
Receiving and putting away incoming stock
Managing day-to-day warehouse despatch independently
Working closely with the sales and office teams to ensure customer orders are processed efficiently
Ensuring warehouse procedures and safety requirements are followed
About you
Has previous warehouse pick & pack and despatch experience
Holds a current Forklift Licence – essential
Can work independently with minimal supervision
Has strong attention to detail and takes pride in getting orders right
Is reliable, organised and punctual
Can work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
Takes responsibility and ownership of their work
Has experience managing or coordinating warehouse despatch
