This is a full time permanent role based in Brisbane CBD offices. The objective of this role is to utilise your extensive experience to support a portfolio of premium clients. You will be responsible for working alongside the Client Manager and the Partners to build and nurture relationships with their existing and new clients.
Key responsibilities
Preparing financial statements, income tax returns, and business activity statements for all entities including companies, trusts, partnerships and individuals, and other statutory compliance
Assisting clients with a range of taxation matters, including FBT, CGT, income tax, and GST
Involvement in tax planning, budgeting and forecasting
Manage and foster client relationships face to face
Involvement in Fringe Benefits Tax reviews and preparation of return
Coach and mentor junior staff
Manage own workload and deadlines for clients
Reviewing work of more junior accountants
About you
Solid Tax Accounting experience in public practice environment (ideally current)
Exposure/knowledge assisting in advising clients regarding tax planning advice on budgeting, forecasting and value-added services
Highly detail oriented and organised
Proven ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with different levels of employees in a team environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
CPA or CA qualified or in progress
Up to $120,000 + Super, depending on experience
Up to 2 days WFH after probation
Ongoing developmental support from Client Managers and Partners
