We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to design, build and operate cloud infrastructure while driving automation, reliability and operational excellence across our environments.
The ideal candidate will bring hands-on expertise in Google Cloud Platform and DevOps practices to support mission-critical data pipelines and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.ResponsibilitiesDesign, build and operate cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)Implement and maintain GCP networking, including Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), firewalls, load balancing and interconnectsAutomate infrastructure provisioning and workplace setup using DevOps best practicesBuild, run and improve continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines with JenkinsSupport operational stability for data pipelines through monitoring, standardization and incident responseCollaborate with Java, Python, data, quality assurance and business teams to enable smooth deliveryParticipate in code reviews,
architecture discussions and technical planningImprove reliability, scalability and security across cloud environmentsRequirementsDevOps practices including automation, CI/CD and operational readinessGoogle Cloud Platform (GCP) with hands-on production experience running cloud infrastructureGCP networking including Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), firewall rules, load balancing and interconnectsJenkins with expert-level, hands-on experience supporting production pipelinesInfrastructure engineering across availability, performance, scalability and securityProblem-solving skills with a practical approach to troubleshooting and root cause analysisNice to haveData engineering or data pipeline delivery experienceHands-on scripting or development exposure with Python or Java in a cloud contextExperience working in financial services or other regulated environments
