Leading membership operations performance across the shared service model, ensuring high service standards, quality outcomes and effective issue resolution
Leading and developing the Club Membership Enablement Manager cohort to drive capability uplift, accountability and performance improvement across clubs
Partnering with clubs ahead of key membership periods to strengthen planning, reduce operational risk and improve conversion, delivery and member outcomes
Leading the resolution of complex membership and ticketing issues during peak periods while identifying and addressing root causes
Analysing membership performance trends, risks and opportunities to inform interventions and improve industry-wide outcomes
Establishing and embedding consistent standards, frameworks and playbooks for membership operations and program execution

Ensuring disciplined delivery and service excellence across the membership lifecycle and critical operational periods
Using performance and operational insights to prioritise improvements and drive continuous enhancement across clubs and AFL teams
Driving alignment between clubs and AFL business units to improve consistency, reduce friction and deliver better member experiences
Creating clarity in decision-making, ways of working and issue management across the membership system
Fostering a high-accountability team culture with clear ownership, collaboration and follow-through
What you'll bring
Demonstrated senior leadership experience within a commercial organisation
Proven ability to lead through others and drive performance at scale across complex operational environments
Experience delivering multiple strategic priorities in fast-paced settings
Strong understanding of membership operations, membership growth drivers and member experience
Sound operational judgement with the ability to make decisions, manage risk and maintain delivery under pressure
Highly developed stakeholder engagement, relationship management and conflict resolution skills
Experience working across membership, ticketing, customer support, consumer or related operational functions
Strong analytical capability, with experience using performance insights to identify opportunities and improve outcomes
Ability to build trusted partnerships and influence stakeholders across diverse and sometimes competing priorities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including preparing and presenting information to senior stakeholders
Experience creating structure, standards and scalable processes that improve performance and consistency
Knowledge of ticketing, membership and/or CRM platforms, ideally including Ticketmaster Archtics and Salesforce CRM
Understanding of the AFL industry and the relationship between clubs and the league will be highly regarded

Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on operational leadership and execution
