About us
Avenues Camp Hill Early Learning Centre is a beautiful, quiet centre and operates within long day care hours to support the families and children of Camp Hill, Brisbane and surrounding areas.
We have fully stocked cupboards of food in our staff room, so that you are always provided for. At Camp Hill we always aim to have a lot of fun with a great and supportive culture the staff and management team have built! There is a bus stop conveniently located within walking distance of the centre.
The role




We are seeking either newly graduated Early Childhood Teachers or Teachers with experience of working with the Kindergarten program to support one of our existing Cycle 1 classrooms. Having Teacher registration would be beneficial as would experience and or qualification in Montessori.
This position would provide the right candidate with the opportunity to develop their professional skills further with our highly qualified team of International Guides. Mentoring programs and consistent support staff who offer coverage for programming times, meetings and material making are also a benefit of working with Avenues Camp Hill. We also offer in-house training to ensure consistency of practice and approaches to the Montessori Philosophy throughout our environments.
We seek applicants who have excellent communication and written skills and are positive contributors to a team of diverse educator's. We are looking for a developed knowledge of the National Quality Framework and the willingness to learn to use digital programming tools.
The successful applicant will hold an ACECQA recognized qualification in addition to their Montessori Diploma.
Skills & requirements
Holds a recognised Early Childhood Teaching qualification
Montessori Diploma highly desirable
Previous experience in a Montessori environment preferred.
A current and valid Working with Children's Check (Blue Card)
A current Senior First Aid, CPR & Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
