WE'RE HIRING - SEMI TRAILER DRIVER
Motorcycle Transport | Full-Time Position
We are seeking an experienced Semi Trailer Driver who loves being on the road and knows motorcycles. We're looking for a reliable, experienced driver to join our specialist motorcycle transport team.
Melbourne based
THE ROLE
During the busy/peak season, the main run will be:
Melbourne - Perth - Melbourne
The Perth return trip generally takes around 1.5 weeks, with the run operating approximately every second week during peak periods. When things are quieter, you'll be running the semi to other locations across Australia depending on freight and business requirements. This is not a straight linehaul position - you may have multiple pickups and deliveries along the way. You'll be transporting approximately ***** motorcycles per run, so this role involves plenty of hands-on work.
THE ROLE INCLUDES
Interstate motorcycle transport
Melbourne - Perth - Melbourne runs
Multi-drop pickups and deliveries
Loading, unloading, moving and positioning motorcycles
Securing motorcycles safely for transport
Regular handling of large and heavy motorcycles
Customer communication and paperwork
Extended periods away from home
IMPORTANT
You must be comfortable and physically capable of independently moving, handling and positioning motorcycles weighing 350kg+. This is a genuine hands-on role and motorcycle knowledge and confidence handling larger bikes is essential.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
HC or MC licence
Proven semi trailer driving experience
Interstate driving experience
Strong load restraint knowledge
Good motorcycle knowledge and experience
Comfortable handling large/heavy motorcycles 350kg+
Logbook and fatigue management knowledge
Reliable and safety-focused
Good communication skills
Comfortable being away from home for extended periods

Cents/km plus loading/unloading payments and allowances
