Northern Health are seeking applications from motivated and suitably experienced Intensive Care Registrars to join the ICU team.
Northern Health is the major provider of acute, maternity, sub-acute, mental health, specialist, community and home-based services in Melbourne's rapidly growing outer north.
Services are provided through our six main campuses: Northern Hospital Epping, Broadmeadows Hospital, Bundoora Centre, Craigieburn and Mernda Community Hospitals and Kilmore District Hospital. In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park, Mernda and Coburg.
About the Role:
This **** Intensive Care Registrar position is a part-time (0.5 FTE, 43 hours per fortnight), fixed-term appointment for 12 months. This position involves delivering comprehensive care to inpatients and public outpatients within the ICU, as well as providing consultative support to other units or departments.
The role includes supervising junior medical officers and assisting senior medical staff in the management and care of patients within the unit.
To be successful in this role you will have:
Proven experience in the field of intensive care
Hold current AHPRA registration
Registered with CICM
Must have satisfactorily completed at least three years of postgraduate hospital experience in an Australian, New Zealand (or recognised equivalent hospital)
