This role would suit someone early in their safety career who is looking to broaden their experience across safety assurance, risk management and contractor safety within a large and complex organisation.This is not a site-based safety advisor role.
A large part of your role will involve coordinating activities, maintaining frameworks, preparing reports, analysing information and working with stakeholders to drive continuous improvement across the business.What you'll be doingSupport safety assurance programs, activities and systemsAssist in implementation and management of contractor safety management processes and documentationMaintain contractor safety, safety risk and critical control management informationAssist with preparation of reports, presentations and business documentationReview documentation and data to identify gaps, errors, trends and improvement opportunitiesSupport the development and maintenance of SHEL frameworks, standards and proceduresWork with stakeholders across the business to help implement safety improvement initiativesAbout youWe're open to candidates who are looking to take the next step in their safety career.
You don't need extensive leadership experience, but you will bring:Experience in safety, health, risk or a related fieldExcellent attention to detail and the ability to manage complex information across simultaneous projects in a dynamic operational environmentConfidence working with reports, spreadsheets and business systemsStrong critical and risk-based thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to align information,
