City employees enjoy a work environment that encourages professional development and promotes a healthy work-life balance.About this position:The City is seeking an experienced sustainability professional to implement, evaluate and promote Switch Your Thinking's corporate and community sustainability programs, supporting greenhouse gas emissions reduction and climate action initiatives across the Cities of Gosnells and Armadale and the Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale.As the Switch Your Thinking Program Officer, you will lead sustainability projects from planning through to delivery, evaluation and reporting, while contributing to the ongoing development of sustainability initiatives across participating local governments.The position works closely with local government partners, community stakeholders and funding bodies,



requiring a collaborative approach and demonstrated experience delivering and coordinating projects.What we are looking for:A comprehensive understanding of sustainability principles and practicesProven ability to build relationships with corporate, community and stakeholder groupsExperience delivering sustainability projects and initiativesExperience facilitating presentations, workshops or community engagement activitiesExperience securing and managing grants, funding opportunities or partnershipsExperience developing communications, marketing or engagement content across digital and community channelsCurrent driver's licenceTertiary qualification in Environmental Management, Sustainability, Science or equivalentWorking with Children CheckNational Police Clearance (no more than three months old).
