Civil Engineer - ( DY )DescriptionOur Community Development team is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join them in Carrara, Gold Coast.
In this role you will manage the civil design and documentation for a variety of land, urban and subdivision projects in both the public and private sectors, across an extensive regional client portfolio.
You will be involved in resolving design constraints, coordinating projects, interfacing with various disciplines and delivering projects with the support of a multi‐disciplinary design team.With Stantec, our approach to community development consulting covers master planned communities, mixed‐use developments, parks, recreation facilities, and streetscapes.
We activate urban downtowns, suburban centres, small towns and rural areas‐and the multimodal corridors that connect us to the places we work, live, and thrive.Day to day tasks would involve:Design, coordination and project management of land, urban and subdivision projects, from feasibility through to constructionPrepare technical reports and specificationsProvide technical expertise to clients and support projectsManage projects including scheduling and preparation of project budgetsCoordinate between disciplines on multidisciplinary projectsUndertake and manage site inspectionsContribute to the development of Stantec's knowledge and skills in civil engineering including planning, design, and constructionMaintain existing and develop new, trusted relationships with key clientsAssist in the securing and delivery of projects by way of business development and client relationship managementWhat you will bring to the team:Bachelor of Civil EngineeringDemonstrated experience in civil engineering design and the delivery of projects, ideally within urban,
