As a senior sales role in the food service industry, success can be demonstrated through an ability to quickly establish rapport with a variety of stakeholders, inspired leadership of a motivated sales team and meticulous attention to detail.More specifically your duties will include the following:Generate leadsLiaise with marketing regarding current product and existing product campaignsSecure profitable sales by actioning referred enquiries from various sourcesDevelop or maintain appropriate relationships with existing customers and dealersLiaise with various departments to ensure stock levels and production dates meet customer/dealer delivery expectationsResolve escalated customer issuesProvide input into setting of team sales targets and budgetsMonitor and control sales budget, including team member sales targets and other KPIsManage staff performance with a view to continuous improvementUndertake basic staff administrationIn determining suitability for the role, the following criteria are considered essential:Skilled at identifying new opportunities in the marketSkilled at negotiationSkilled at controlling costs with respect to revenueSkilled at mentoring and providing feedbackIntermediate level of computer and technical skills in computer software including Enterprise Resource Planning Software and Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook, TeamsAbility to demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills incorporating MS OfficeAbility to develop product knowledge over timeAbility to work collaboratively with relevant stakeholdersAbility to comprehend customer requirementsAbility to utilise subject matter expertsAbility to efficiently delegate tasks across all of team
