Belize Mills Limited is looking for an experienced Quality & Food Safety Coordinator to lead our quality assurance, food safety, and pest management programs.

What You'll Do
Own the facility's food safety and quality assurance programs, including HACCP and related prerequisite programsLead our integrated pest management program, from daily inspections to coordinating with external pest control operatorsDrive compliance with regulatory, corporate, customer, and third-party audit requirementsServe as the go-to contact for auditors and regulatory agencies during inspectionsTrain and guide employees on food safety, sanitation, and quality proceduresInvestigate incidents and complaints, and turn findings into real process improvementsProvide functional leadership to the Sanitation teamCollaborate across production, operations, sales, and technical teams to keep quality front and centerMonitor and analyze food safety metrics, maintaining accurate records and documentation
What You Bring
Bachelor's degree in Food Science or related field (preferred)5+ years of experience in food safety/QA within food manufacturingStrong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and BRC food safety standardsExperience coordinating food safety audits and running HACCP trainingWorking knowledge of plant operations, ideally in milling or food processingProficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) for reporting, documentation, and cross-team communicationStrong communicator who can train, influence, and collaborate at every level of the organization

This role is based in an active manufacturing setting — expect exposure to heat, dust, heights, and physical activity throughout the day.
Wheat and wheat-containing materials are present as part of the production process.
