Electrical Draftsperson & Operations CoordinatorGAP Industries is looking for an experienced Electrical Operations Coordinator with drafting experience to join our growing team.This is a technical operations role combining project coordination, technician scheduling, job management and AutoCAD drafting across electrical and communications projects.
Previous drafting experience is essential.About the RoleYour responsibilities will include:Coordinating daily electrical, data, maintenance and project operationsScheduling electricians, technicians, subcontractors and equipmentReviewing upcoming work and confirming labour, materials and site requirementsCreating, updating and managing jobs through SimproMonitoring job progress, deadlines, costs and outstanding documentationAssisting with quotations, purchase orders, variations and project cost trackingLiaising with clients, project managers, supervisors, technicians and suppliersPreparing and updating electrical and communications drawingsProducing layouts, mark-ups, schematics and as-built drawingsInterpreting construction drawings, specifications and client requirementsCoordinating site access, inductions, permits and project documentationEnsuring technicians submit accurate timesheets, job notes, photographs and service reportsIdentifying and escalating operational risks, delays and resourcing concernsSupporting job close-out and ensuring all required documentation is completeMaintaining GAP Industries' safety, quality,



presentation and customer-service standardsSupporting continuous improvement across operational systems and workflowsDrafting ResponsibilitiesPrevious drafting experience is essential.
