We are seeking an experienced Quality Coordinator to join an established aged care provider in Doncaster for a one-month locum assignment.This is a hands-on quality and clinical governance position suited to an experienced Registered Nurse who can quickly step into the role and provide practical quality, compliance and auditing support across aged care services.Offering $***** per hour, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced quality qualified looking for a short-term assignment at an attractive hourly rate.Quality Coordinator - Aged CareMonitor and audit compliance against legislative, accreditation and regulatory requirementsConduct clinical and non-clinical audits across aged care servicesSupport accreditation preparation and ongoing complianceIdentify areas of clinical risk and recommend appropriate remedial actionCoach and mentor clinical and care staff in best-practice careReview incidents and resident/client feedback and support appropriate investigation and follow-upMonitor clinical indicators and analyse quality and KPI dataSupport clinical governance and quality monitoring programsReview and update policies and procedures in line with accreditation and legislative requirementsMaintain effective clinical document control systemsProvide practical quality and clinical support to managers and care teamsAssist teams to maintain strong standards of resident assessment,
care planning and clinical practiceAbout youCurrent AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse - mandatoryPrevious quality experience within residential aged care, community aged care or the broader health sectorStrong knowledge of aged care legislation, accreditation requirements and regulatory standardsDemonstrated experience conducting clinical auditsExperience identifying clinical risks and recommending corrective/remedial actionsExperience reviewing and maintaining clinical policies and proceduresStrong understanding of clinical governance and quality systemsWell-developed interpersonal and influencing skillsConfidence working with and supporting managers and staff at all levelsStrong computer and clinical IT system skillsExcellent time management skillsCurrent NDIS Worker Screening CheckWhat's on offer?
