Our results are achieved through our great team - with the mantra Leave it with Us, we are invested in working together to make things happen.About the RoleWe are looking for a highly motivated Business Development Manager to join our high-performing Industrial sales team based in Canberra, ACT.In this role you will identify your own leads and build relationships to become a trusted partner for the disposal of surplus equipment across categories such as transport, construction, earthmoving, agriculture, and engineering.
You will also be provided with a warm book of leads and repeat clients to help you hit the ground running.For your efforts you will be rewarded with a competitive salary, fully maintained vehicle allowance, and an uncapped incentive plan, along with many other employee benefits including ongoing training and development and flexible working arrangements.Your ResponsibilitiesCover a large region surrounding Canberra and the greater ACT involving regular face-to-face site meetingsWork through a mix of high-volume cold calls and warm leads including repeat and dormant accounts to ensure all possible sales opportunities are identifiedAssess potential partners, perform competitive research, evaluate proposed deals and partnerships, and develop business cases for new business targetsBe the lead point of contact for customers, vendors,
