This one is about bringing people together.From competitive league bowling and social bowling to arcade games, parties and family entertainment, iPlay Tenpin City Lidcombe is a destination where guests come to compete, celebrate, connect and have a great time.We're looking for an experienced, energetic Venue Manager to take the lead and drive the performance, culture and guest experience across one of our established entertainment venues.If you're a natural leader who knows how to build outstanding teams, understands bowling operations and thrives in a fast-paced environment, this could be your next big move.THE ROLEAs Venue Manager, you'll take ownership of the day-to-day operation of iPlay Tenpin City Lidcombe, leading a team that delivers exceptional experiences across league bowling, social bowling and arcade entertainment.Reporting to the Regional Manager, you'll be hands-on, commercially focused and passionate about creating a venue that guests want to return to again and again.WHAT YOU'LL DOLead and inspire a high-performing venue teamTake ownership of the day-to-day operation of the venueDrive the performance and growth of league and bowling operationsEnsure exceptional customer service and memorable guest experiencesManage rosters, labour costs, inventory and venue resourcesOversee reporting, budgets, stock control and orderingMonitor venue performance and identify opportunities to improve resultsBuild strong relationships with league bowlers, social bowlers and regular guestsLead from the front during busy periods, events and peak trading timesEnsure high standards of safety,
cleanliness and complianceCoach and develop your team to reach their full potentialWork closely with the Regional Manager and wider leadership team to achieve business goalsABOUT YOUYou're a people leader, problem solver and all-round good time enthusiast who knows how to get the best out of a team.You'll bring:Strong knowledge of bowling operations, particularly league bowling, with a genuine understanding of what drives a successful bowling centreProven leadership experience in bowling, entertainment, hospitality, retail, leisure or a similar fast-paced environmentA hands-on leadership style and a willingness to get stuck inStrong commercial awareness and an understanding of venue performanceExcellent communication and people-management skillsConfidence managing budgets, labour costs, stock and reportingGood working knowledge of Microsoft ExcelThe ability to remain calm, positive and solutions-focused under pressureConfidence around arcade games and interactive entertainmentFlexibility to work across days, nights, weekends and public holidaysIdeally, qualifications such as RSA, RMLV, Food Safety Supervisor or other relevant certificationsWHY iPLAY?
