Today, we support over **** people through the NDIS, Commonwealth Home Support and Support at Home programs, while keeping the practical, down-to-earth approach we started with.You'll have the backing of an approachable team that values good clinical work,
open conversations and supporting each other to provide the best outcomes for our participants in the community.About the role:Develop and implement evidence-based plans, informed by functional behavioural assessments.Reduce / eliminate RPs in accordance with current regulatory frameworks, and NDIS Practice Standards.Provide leadership / operational and clinical support to direct reports.Work alongside OTs, Speechies, Physios and RNs, sharing knowledge and supporting staff training in the safe implementation of BSPs.Liaise with families, carers and support coordinators to ensure BSPs are practical and person-centred.What you will bring:NDIS-registered Behaviour Support Practitioner at Proficient level or above, with at least 4 years' clinical experienceA tertiary qualification in Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Social Work or NursingStrong leadership and strategic planning skillsSound understanding of Restrictive Practices and behaviour support planningA current driver's licence and First Aid Certificate, plus an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check16 September ****Newcastle Recent South Wales, Australia
