Keep the cars moving.Craig Burgess Motor Group is looking for an experienced Pre-Delivery & Used Car Reconditioning Manager to take charge of a busy and important part of our dealership operation.This isn't a role where you'll spend your day sitting behind a desk.
We need someone who enjoys being in the middle of the action, running the workshop, managing the team, solving problems and making sure vehicles are ready when our customers need them.You'll have responsibility for both new vehicle pre-delivery and our Used Car Reconditioning Team, giving you genuine ownership of the vehicle preparation process from start to finish.If you know dealership operations, understand the pressure of delivery deadlines and get satisfaction from running a tight, productive operation, we'd like to hear from you.What you'll be taking ownership ofYou'll lead the day-to-day Pre-Delivery and Used Car Reconditioning operation, working closely with our Sales, Service and Parts teams to keep vehicles moving.Your role will include:Leading and managing the Pre-Delivery and Used Car Reconditioning teamsPlanning the daily workload around vehicle deliveries and sales prioritiesManaging used vehicles through the reconditioning process so they're front-line ready as quickly as possibleWorking directly with Sales Managers to prioritise urgent vehiclesAllocating work to technicians and monitoring productivity and efficiencyRaising, costing and closing repair ordersManaging internal, policy and departmental repair ordersCoordinating repairs, parts,



recalls and manufacturer campaignsKeeping on top of back-ordered parts and outstanding workManaging workshop consumables and purchase ordersCompleting daily reporting and actioning anything holding vehicles upMaintaining high standards across quality, presentation and workshop safetyBuilding a team culture focused on accountability, urgency and getting the job doneWho we're looking forDealership experience is a must.We're looking for someone who already understands how a busy automotive operation works.
You'll ideally have experience in Pre-Delivery, Used Car Reconditioning, Workshop Management or a similar dealership leadership role.You'll be someone who can walk into the department, understand what's happening and quickly work out what needs to happen next.You'll also bring robust people leadership, solid workshop and repair-order knowledge, excellent organisation and the confidence to work with Sales Managers and other department leaders.Most importantly, you're someone who takes ownership.
When there's a problem, you don't wait for someone else to fix it, you find a solution and keep things moving.A current Australian driver's licence is required.Why this role?
