You will work closely with our Project Managers and Directors to manage the financial and contractual side of multiple commercial projects.This is a hands-on role with real responsibility and the opportunity to grow with the business.Key ResponsibilitiesPreparing, reviewing and administering subcontract agreementsLetting and negotiating trade packagesAssessing and processing subcontractor progress claimsHead contract administration (AS contracts)Managing variations, extensions of time, and contractual noticesCost tracking,
forecasting and reportingProcurement of materials and subcontractorsLiaising with site teams, consultants and clientsAssisting with project programming and budget controlAbout YouWe're looking for someone who is organised, commercially minded and confident working in a fast-paced construction environment.You will ideally have:Experience as a Contract Administrator or similar in commercial constructionKnowledge of Australian construction contracts (AS, AS****, etc.)Ability to work on multiple projects and manage deadlinesStrong negotiation and communication skillsAn understanding of construction methodology and sequencingProficiency with the Microsoft suite, construction based software preferable but not essentialWhat We OfferStable, long-term role with a respected regional builderDiverse and interesting commercial projectsSupportive team setting with direct access to senior managementOpportunity to grow with an expanding businessCompetitive salary based on experienceFlexible working arrangement available
