Be Our First Broker on the Ground in Victoria.
Locale Financial is expanding nationally and Victoria is a key part of that growth.
We're looking for an experienced Finance Broker / Mortgage Broker to become our first broker on the ground in Victoria, working closely with our Head of Finance to help build Locale Financial's footprint in the market.
This is a big opportunity for the right person.
You'll have the autonomy to build relationships and establish yourself in the Victorian market, while still being backed by an established national team, proven systems and the broader Locale Property Group ecosystem.
And you won't be starting from zero.
You'll have access to referral partners from Day 1, along with opportunities generated through Locale Homes and Locale Wealth.
If you're a natural relationship builder who knows how to turn opportunities into long-term client and referral relationships, this could be the role for you.

As our first Finance Broker on the ground in Victoria, you'll work closely with our Head of Finance to help grow Locale Financial's presence and establish robust relationships across the Victorian market.

You won't be expected to build your pipeline entirely from scratch.

$250k–$300k+ OTE with an uncapped commission structure

Full Back-Office Support
You'll have the independence expected of an experienced broker without having to do everything yourself.
Dedicated Broker Support Officers (BSO) assisting with administration, compliance and processing
Mercury Nexus CRM and automation tools provided
Structured workflows, compliance checklists and SOPs
Support from our national Finance team
You focus on relationships, advice and writing business.

Who You Are
We're looking for an experienced Mortgage Broker who is naturally good with people and relationships.
You know that great broking isn't just about getting a loan approved — it's about earning trust with clients and building relationships that continue to generate opportunities over time.
You'll ideally bring:
2+ years' experience in mortgage broking
Demonstrated construction lending experience




Strong relationship-building and networking skills
Confidence developing relationships with clients and referral partners
Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of your market
A collaborative mindset and ability to work as part of a broader national team
Strong communication across phone, email, video and face-to-face
Confidence working with CRMs, digital tools and structured workflows
A client-first approach built around transparency, education and advocacy
Required
Minimum Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking
Diploma in Finance and Mortgage Broking preferred
MFAA or FBAA membership, or ability to obtain
2+ years' mortgage broking experience
Construction lending experience
Australian citizenship or permanent residency
