ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Service Technician, you are responsible for repairing, maintaining, and supporting barcode printers and RF scanning terminals on-site and remotely, including hardware setup, diagnostics, and occasional after-hours work.
Your key focus areas will include:
Repair and service of leading brand barcode label printers and RF scanning terminals
Field service and in-house maintenance
Phone and online remote support
Wi-Fi system design, configuration and servicing
Disassembly/assemblyof mechanical and electronic equipment
Troubleshootingand diagnostics of barcode label printers and RF scanner terminals
ABOUT YOU
We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Service Technician to deliver high-quality technical support and repair services across our Melbourne customer base.
You will have:
Trade/tertiary qualifications in electronics




Electronic and mechanical fault diagnosis skills
Sound knowledge of computing, Windows and Android operating systems
High standard of customer service
High level of verbal communications & written skills
Quality workmanship
Minimum 1 years' experience in electronic servicing industry
Experience in Data Network Principals and Mobile Data Capture Hardware would be an advantage
Current driver's licence
