We are seeking an experienced operations leader to take ownership of our Occupational Health service and turn our national clinical footprint into a coordinated, scalable and commercially successful offering for employers.This is not a maintenance role, and it is not a purely administrative or account-management position.
You will have the mandate to establish the operating model, activate practices, improve existing services, onboard corporate clients and build the systems required to support substantial national growth.The opportunity:Family Doctor already provides Occupational Health services across parts of its national group.
The opportunity now is to bring these capabilities together, eliminate fragmented processes and create a consistent national service covering areas such as:Pre-employment medical assessmentsDrug and alcohol screeningWorkplace vaccinationsHealth surveillanceFitness-for-work and injury-related assessmentsEmployer-funded medical servicesOther occupational and workplace health programsReporting directly to the Executive Team and working across operations, clinical teams, business development, finance and technology, you will be accountable for both operational delivery and measurable growth.What you will doTake operational ownership of Occupational Health across the Family Doctor groupAssess existing services, clients, workflows, pricing, capacity and clinical capabilityDevelop and implement a consistent national operating modelIdentify and activate suitable practices across our groupBuild efficient end-to-end workflows covering bookings, clinical delivery, reporting,
invoicing and follow-upLead the operational onboarding of new employer and corporate clientsCoordinate multi-site and national client implementationsImprove appointment access, turnaround times, service reliability and client experienceMonitor revenue, margins, billing integrity and service profitabilityIdentify missed charges, inefficient processes and opportunities to expand existing accountsEstablish service standards, performance dashboards and explicit accountabilityWork with our internal technology team to automate booking, forms, workflow, reporting and administrationEnsure privacy, consent, clinical governance and employer-reporting requirements are properly embeddedYour success will be visible and measurable.
It will include:More Family Doctor practices actively delivering Occupational Health servicesIncreased appointment capacity and geographic coverageGrowth in completed assessments, employer clients and revenueFaster, more reliable client implementationConsistent service delivery across participating practicesImproved turnaround times and client retentionStronger billing integrity and commercial performanceLess manual administration through better systems and automationAbout you:You are an operator who can move between strategy and execution.
You can diagnose an inefficient process,
design a better model and then work with dispersed teams to make it function in practice.Strong operational leadership experience in healthcare, occupational health, multi-site servicesDemonstrated success designing, standardising and scaling operations across multiple locationsCommercial understanding of pricing, margins, service delivery economics and client requirementsExperience implementing new services, workflows or corporate clients across dispersed teamsStrong analytical skills and confidence using operational and financial dataThe ability to influence clinicians, practice managers, corporate clients and senior executivesExcellent project management, organisation and execution capabilityA practical, accountable style with a bias toward implementationSound judgement when distinguishing operational matters from issues requiring clinical escalationExperience with healthcare technology, workflow automation, practice management systems or employer health platforms would be highly regarded.Why join Family Doctor?
