As a Parts Interpreter, you will play a crucial role in our automotive operation, serving as the vital link between customers, technicians, and our inventory management systems.
This position is essential to ensuring efficient parts identification, ordering, and delivery, whilst maintaining exceptional customer service standards.
You will be responsible for accurately interpreting technical specifications, vehicle requirements, and service requests to provide the right parts solutions every time.Key responsibilitiesIdentify and interpret vehicle specifications and parts requirements from customer requests and work ordersSearch and navigate parts catalogues, computer systems, and technical databases to locate correct parts informationCommunicate with customers, technicians, and service advisors to clarify parts requirements and specificationsVerify part numbers, compatibility, and availability across inventory management systemsProcess parts orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring correct quantities and delivery specificationsMaintain detailed records of parts requests, orders, and customer interactionsProvide technical advice to customers and internal staff regarding part applications and compatibilityManage parts inventory organisation and stock control proceduresEnsure compliance with automotive industry standards and company policiesContribute to a professional and welcoming environment for customers and colleaguesWhat we're looking forProven experience as a Parts Interpreter, Parts Advisor, or similar role within the automotive industryStrong knowledge of vehicle systems, components,
