United Pacific Engineering – Coffs Harbour NSWUnited Pacific Engineering is seeking experienced Fabricators and Welders to join our team on a casual basis.
This is a hands-on position based in Coffs Harbour, NSW, where you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and welding various components and structures.
As a Fabricator and Welder, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality products that meet our clients' specifications and industry standards.These casual positions have come about as we have been asked to accelerate progress on major projects for our valued clients.
This position offers flexibility whilst allowing you to contribute to one or more challenging projects with a genuine opportunity to join our workshop team on a longer term basis.Key responsibilitiesFabricate and assemble metal components and structures according to technical drawings and specificationsPerform welding operations using various welding techniques to project specific requirements.Monitor your own work in progress and upon completion to ensure compliance with quality standards and safety requirementsOperate and maintain welding and fabrication equipment in a safe and efficient mannerRead and interpret technical drawings, work instructions and specifications to guide your fabrication workPrepare materials for welding and fabrication processesCollaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure projects are completed on scheduleAdhere to workplace health and safety protocols and maintain a clean, organised work environmentAssist with fitting, positioning, and final assembly of your completed parts as requiredWhat we're looking forRecognised qualifications in welding and fabrication,



such as a Certificate III or IV in WeldingProven experience in fabrication and welding of Carbon and /or Stainless SteelsDemonstrated proficiency in various welding techniques, including MIG, FCAW and stick weldingStrong ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and work instructions accuratelyCare for workshop equipment, others in the workplace and attention to the task at handPhysical fitness and ability to work in demanding environments, including standing for extended periodsA commitment to workplace health and safety standardsStrong communication and teamwork skillsReliability and the ability to work independently as well as within a teamCurrent working rights in AustraliaPreferred experience with heavy fabrication and welding techniquesability to start work within the next few weekswillingness to work reasonable overtime as required to meet project requirements.What we offerAt United Pacific Engineering, we value our team members and provide a supportive work environment.
