Early Childhood Education & Care Trainer and Assessor (Contractor)

Rosehill College (RTO 41257 | CRICOS 03622A) is a registered training organisation based in Ultimo, Sydney. We deliver nationally recognised vocational education and training to domestic and international students.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Early Childhood Education and Care Trainer and Assessor to join our team as a contractor. The role involves face-to-face teaching in Ultimo and workplace visits across Sydney to support and assess students.

Courses
CHC30121 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
CHC50121 Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care

Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging face-to-face workshops and tutorials
Conduct workplace visits to support and assess students
Provide coaching, mentoring and current industry guidance
Assess learner competency in line with training package and RTO requirements
Maintain accurate training and assessment records
Participate in moderation and validation activities as required
Build robust skilled relationships with students and childcare services




A relevant Early Childhood Education and Care qualification at Diploma level or higher
TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or an accepted equivalent
Recent and relevant industry experience in early childhood education and care
Strong communication, facilitation and student-support skills
Sound knowledge of competency-based training and assessment
Current Working with Children Check, or the ability to obtain one before commencing
Current driver's licence and willingness to travel for workplace visits
Ability to work in office in Ultimo and attend childcare workplaces across Sydney
Previous experience delivering and assessing CHC30121 and/or CHC50121 within an RTO
Familiarity with aXcelerate or a similar student management system
Experience coordinating or conducting early childhood workplace assessments
