This position requires the employee to undertake activities for which they have the legal authority and competence to perform (please refer to the Scope of Practice document).
The person performing the delegated activity is accountable for his or her own actions and to the Registered Nurse (RN).
Supervision means the direction and guidance given by a RN to an Assistant in Nursing (AIN).
