About the Prospect
Hatchit Studios is seeking an experiencedServiceNow Senior Developerto join our delivery team for an upcoming ServiceNow professional services project in Adelaide.
The project involves thedesign and development of a new ServiceNow case management solution, with an initial Minimum Viable Product (MVP) to be delivered within a defined project timeframe.
Working as part of the project delivery team, the successful candidate will contribute acrosssolution design, technical development, configuration, defect resolution, documentation and handover.
This is a hands‐on senior development role suited to someone with strong experience buildingcustom ServiceNow scoped applicationsand the ability to translate business requirements into secure, scalable and maintainable platform solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Contribute technical expertise tosolution design and MVP prioritisation
Design and develop a fit‐for‐purposecase management solution in ServiceNow
Develop and configureServiceNow scoped applications
Build custom tables, workflows, business rules and supporting application components
Configure workflow and lifecycle processes across multiple business teams
Design and implementroles, ACLs, permissions and appropriate access controls
Develop notifications, correspondence and workflow automation
Support dashboard, reporting and analytics requirements
Collaborate with project,
business and ServiceNow platform stakeholders
Undertake developer unit testing and resolve identified defects
Produce appropriate technical documentation and support solution handover
Ensure the solution is scalable and maintainable for future enhancement
Skills & Experience Required
Strong hands‐onServiceNow development experience
Demonstrated experience designing and developingServiceNow scoped applications
Experience developing custom workflows and business processes in ServiceNow
Strong understanding ofServiceNow ACLs, roles, permissions and platform security
Experience designing scalable and maintainable ServiceNow solutions
Ability to contribute effectively totechnical and solution design decisions
Strong troubleshooting and defect‐resolution capability
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with technical, project and business stakeholders
Highly Desirable
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – Customer Service Management (CIS-CSM)
Experience with complex workflow and lifecycle management
Experience implementing granular access controls and separation of duties
Experience developing solutions involving sensitive or restricted information
Experience with external‐facing or anonymous user interactions
Experience delivering ServiceNow solutions in complex enterprise environments
Experience delivering an MVP within a defined or accelerated project timeframe
