St Kevin's Primary School is looking for an energetic, passionate, qualified teacher to fill a part time, Performing Arts position to commence 27/01/27. Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced applicants for the part-time (0.22 FTE), fixed term position of Performing Arts Teacher, commencing 27 January ****.
Key Selection Criteria
The successful applicant will demonstrate:
A commitment to Catholic education, child safety and wellbeing, and the St Kevin's Staff Code of Conduct.
The ability to provide engaging, high-quality Performing Arts learning experiences for students of diverse abilities.
Knowledge and application of evidence-informed practice, including direct and explicit teaching aligned with the MACS Vision for Instruction.
The ability to use assessment and data to inform teaching, differentiate learning and maintain high expectations for all students.
The ability to create calm,



positive and engaging learning environments, with an understanding of Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL).
A passion for the Performing Arts, particularly dance, drama, media arts and/or music.
Strong communication and collaboration skills and a willingness to provide opportunities for students to participate in and present Performing Arts within the school community.
Appropriate qualifications and current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration.
