As our newEarly Childhood Education & Care Lead, you will help shape the future of Early Childhood Education and Care across one of Australia's most innovative Catholic education systems.
This is not a traditional ECEC role.
This is a rare opportunity to influence strategy, design systems, drive transformational change and build a network of high quality Early Learning Centres and Out of School Hours Care services that place children, families and faith at the centre of everything we do.
This is a 12 month temporary role with the possibility of extension or permanency.
Why This Role Matters
As the ECEC Lead, you will spearhead the development and implementation of CSBB's Early Childhood Education and Care strategy, guiding the transition of ECEC services into direct CSBB management and establishing a sector leading model of excellence. Reporting to the Senior Executive, Strategic Delivery, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how children and families experience education from their earliest years.

What You'll Be Leading
You will:
Lead the implementation of CSBB's ECEC strategy and future growth agenda
Oversee the transition of Early Learning Centres and OSHC services into direct CSBB operation
Develop and embed ECEC Provider Standards that drive quality, consistency and Catholic identity across all services
Partner with schools, parish communities and key stakeholders to strengthen enrolment pathways and family engagement
Drive workforce capability through coaching, qualified learning and leadership development
Use data, evidence and insight to improve performance, compliance and service excellence aligned with the National Quality Framework
Collaborate across Finance, HR, Facilities, Marketing and Strategic Delivery teams to ensure sustainable growth and operational success
Valid Working with Children Check

About You
You are a strategic thinker with a passion for transforming early childhood education.
You bring:
Significant leadership experience within Early Childhood Education and Care and/or Children's Services
Deep understanding of the National Quality Framework, quality improvement and regulatory compliance
Experience leading organisational change, service growth or multi site operations




Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence across diverse groups
Strong project management, governance and strategic planning capabilities
A commitment to nurturing high quality outcomes for children, families and communities
Alignment with the mission, values and vision of Catholic education

Most importantly, you are energised by the opportunity to build something meaningful and make a difference at scale.
A probation requirement will be passing the NSW Early Learning Commission Knowledge Assessment to become an Approved Provider of an Early Childhood Education and Care Service.
