Ekad Earthmoving is seeking an experienced General Hire Excavator Operator to join our team in Reedy Creek, Queensland on a part time basis that may lead to full-time.
As an Excavator Operator, you will play a crucial role in the execution of our construction projects, leveraging your skills and expertise to operate heavy machinery with precision and efficiency.What you'll be doingSafely and proficiently operate, excavators 1.7 ton to 8 ton & Posi-tracks & Bobcats & Tip Trucks on general hire in and around the Gold Coast, Brisbane & northern NSW.Carry out various earthmoving tasks such as digging Pools, General Hire, Site excavations, Slab preps, and Site clean-ups.Perform routine maintenance and inspections on assigned equipment to ensure optimal performance and safetyCollaborate with the construction team to execute project plans and meet deadlinesAdhere to all relevant safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe work environmentCommunicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure the smooth coordination of operationsWhat we're looking forProven experience as an Excavator Operator general hire, in the construction industryProficient in the operation and maintenance of excavators, Posi-Tracks & Bobcats.Strong understanding of construction techniques, safety protocolsExcellent problem-solving and decision-making skillsAbility to work collaboratively as part of a team and follow instructionsMUST HAVE A HR driver's license and relevant certificates and ticketsMUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF 2 YEARS OF GENERAL HIRE EXPERIENCEWhat we offerCompetitive hourly ratesSupportive and inclusive work environmentOngoing training and development opportunitiesAbout usEkad Earthmoving is a company that specializes in earthmoving and excavation projects.
