A brand-new private hospital on the Sunshine Coast has hit the ground running — and with a busy surgical environment already taking shape, we're looking for an experiencedCSSD Managerto lead the team and play a key role in the continued growth of the service.

The Opportunity
As CSSD Manager, you'll take responsibility for the day‐to‐day leadership and operation of the CSSD, ensuring high standards across sterilisation, decontamination, instrumentation, compliance and infection prevention.
You'll be joining a supportive team in a fast‐paced environment, with the opportunity to help shape processes and culture within a facility that is still in its early stages of growth.
You'll be responsible for:
Leading and supporting the CSSD team in a busy private hospital environment
Overseeing the decontamination, sterilisation and distribution of surgical instruments and equipment
Ensuring compliance with relevant Australian Standards, policies and infection prevention requirements
Managing workflow, staffing, quality and operational requirements
Supporting theatre teams and maintaining strong relationships across the hospital
Driving continuous improvement and maintaining high standards of safety and quality
Mentoring and developing your team while fostering a positive workplace culture

About You
We're looking for an experienced CSSD professional who is ready to take the next step into a leadership role — or an established CSSD leader looking for a fresh challenge.
You'll ideally have:
Previous CSSDleadership/managementexperience
Strong knowledge of sterilisation, decontamination and instrument management
Excellent understanding of relevant Australian Standards and infection prevention requirements
Strong organisational and people‐management skills
A collaborative, hands‐on leadership style
Relevant CSSD qualifications and/or experience
