Job Description
We're a small, fully licensed domestic and commercial building company looking for an experienced Qualified Carpenter to become a key member of our tight-knit team.
This is an important role within our business.
You'll work alongside our leading hand and trade assistant across a varied mix of projects throughout Melbourne, with the opportunity to take ownership of jobs and help lead our growing residential new-build division.
About the role
Our projects include:
Residential renovations, extensions and refits
Verandahs, decking and other outdoor structures
Sheet-metal roofing associated with outdoor structures
Hardscaping and external construction
Residential new builds
What we're looking for
Qualified carpenter with solid industry experience
Broad, practical skills across different areas of building and construction
Experience working on new homes, renovations and extensions
Sheet-metal roofing experience would be advantageous
Ability to read and work from plans and specifications
A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to tackle varied tasks
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
Confidence coordinating trades and managing site activities




High standards of workmanship and attention to detail
Pride in your work and a commitment to delivering quality results
Ability to lead, take ownership and work well within a small team
Clear and professional communication with clients, trades and suppliers
Your own reliable vehicle and a full set of tools suitable for the role
