About The Role

In this role at Mountain Heights School Queenstown, you will create dynamic programs that spark curiosity, build practical skills, and foster confidence, while thoughtfully monitoring and celebrating each student's individual growth and achievement.

We are looking for Essential
Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (Registration Status – Employment)
A registered teacher with full registration within the meaning of the Teachers Registration Act ****.
Current certificate of registration; or provisional registration; or limited authority to teach granted by the Teachers Registration Board (Tasmania) in accordance with the provisions of the Teachers Registration Act ****.
Please note that a person with a limited authority to teach can only be employed on a fixed‐term basis.
Under the Teaching Service (Tasmanian Public Sector) Award.
Classification and progression are based upon training, qualifications, and satisfactory performance.
Progression to Band 1 Level 13 requires an employee to have been at Band 1 Level 12 for 12 months or more and have full teacher registration as certified by the Teachers Registration Board (Tasmania).
Desirable
Four years or more training as defined in the Teaching Service (Tasmanian Public Sector) Award ****

Applicants should be aware that for twelve (12) months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill any subsequent full‐time or part‐time vacancies in accordance with Employment Direction 1.
