We are seeking a hands-on Duty Manager to join a well-established multi-outlet venue in Kalgoorlie, Regional Western Australia.

This venue features hotel accommodation, a lively bar & bistro, TAB and restaurant, catering to both locals and visitors.
Renowned for its high standards of service, the venue regularly hosts functions and events, making no two days the same.
The Role
Reporting to the General Manager, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day operation of the venue, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while supporting, coaching and motivating the team across multiple departments.
This is a genuinely hands-on management role where you'll be actively involved in operations while helping drive the business forward.
Your Responsibilities
Lead, motivate and support team members across the venueOversee the daily operation of the bar, bistro, sports bar and receptionEnsure smooth shift operations, including coordinating staff breaksTrain and brief team members on new products, promotions and proceduresAssist with implementing and driving promotional activitiesResolve guest and operational issues professionally and efficientlyDeliver exceptional customer service by leading through exampleWork closely with the kitchen and floor teams to ensure a seamless guest experienceAssist with front office duties including guest check-in/check-out,



reservations and inquiriesSupport the General Manager with the overall operation of the venueComplete additional operational duties as required
About You
We're looking for an enthusiastic hospitality professional who enjoys working with people and has the confidence to lead a team in a busy venue.
You will ideally have:
Previous Supervisory, Duty Manager, Bar Manager or Bistro Management experienceExperience working in a high-volume hospitality environmentStrong knowledge of wine, beer and spiritsAn understanding of labour management and operating costsExcellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skillsThe ability to remain calm under pressure in a quick-paced environmentOutstanding attention to detailFlexibility to work a rotating roster including evenings, weekends and public holidaysA current WA Approved Manager's Certificate
