Foodbank Support WorkerCitizens Advice New Forest is looking for a compassionate Foodbank Support Worker to support people using foodbanks in Ringwood and Fordingbridge.The role focuses on providing practical advice for people experiencing financial hardship, including debt and benefits issues, and helping them access wider Citizens Advice services.Strong interpersonal skills, with empathy and ability to overcome barriersA person-centred approach, balancing compassion with empowermentSelf-aware and professional, with transparent boundaries and confidentialityAble to work independently in community settingsStrong organisational and time-management skills, focused on positive outcomesExcellent communication, numeracy and IT skills, including Microsoft OfficeAdvice experience is desirable but not essential, if you have transferable skills and a willingness to learn, we'd love to hear from you.Location: Ringwood Library with travel to Ringwood & Fordingbridge Foodbanks and some travel across the New ForestWorking Pattern: 10 hours per weekWednesday 9.30a.m – 2.30p.mFriday 9.30a.m – 2.30p.mClosing date: Friday 9th October **** (applicants will be considered on a rolling basis)
