Sound knowledge of public transport, local attractions, restaurants & events in Melbourne are essential elements of the role.DutiesAssisting in leading and mentoring the teamDelegation of tasks to the team ensuring all guests needs are metHandling guest queries and resolving themDelivering guests luggage and collecting guest luggage on check outProviding information on all facilities within the hotelValet parking of guest cars (both Automatic and Manual)Provide support to the reception team during peak periods to ensure smooth front office operationsFollow up on guest requests and special arrangements as directed by department leaders,



ensuring completion to a high standardBuild and maintain strong relationships with travel partners, tour operators, and local providers to promote memorable guest experiences and day tripsProactively contribute to a collaborative team environment and assist across departments when requiredSkills & ExperienceA minimum of 1-2 years experience in a hotel environmentSound knowledge of MelbourneCommunication and time management skillsExceptional eye for detail and a positive attitudePrevious Opera knowledge will be highly regardedValid Manual Drivers License is a mustWork in Melbourne's iconic Grand Heritage Hotel.Prime Location, work in the heart of Melbourne's CBD, steps away from public transport.Generous staff discount across the group and daily staff meal.Be part of an ever-expanding hospitality group with plenty of room for growth.This is a full-time position on a rotating roster.
