Information Management SpecialistAn chance for an experienced Information Management professional to play a key role in improving information governance, maturity and capability across a large and complex organisation.This position will act as a subject matter expert across Information Management, working with business and technology stakeholders to implement and continually improve the organisation's Information Management Framework.What you'll be doing:Own and manage the organisation's Information Asset RegisterDrive improvements in Information Management maturity and capabilityDefine requirements for Information Management solutions, tools and dashboardsWork with business stakeholders, IT teams and architects to understand requirements and impactsDevelop and embed Information Management policies, procedures, standards and templatesProvide advice around regulatory and statutory Information Management obligationsSupport the implementation of new functionality through training,



stakeholder engagement and supporting artefactsTranslate complex technical and Information Management concepts for a broad range of stakeholdersWhat we're looking for:You'll bring 5+ years' experience in a similar Information Management role, with demonstrated experience operating as an Information Management subject matter expert.You'll also have:Experience contributing to the implementation of an Information Management FrameworkStrong understanding of IT architecture and Information Management solutionsExperience developing and embedding policies, procedures, standards and templatesStrong stakeholder engagement, consultation and change management skillsExperience interpreting technical and regulatory information and translating it for different audiencesRelevant tertiary qualifications in Information Management or a related disciplineExperience within Local Government or a similarly regulated environment will be highly regardedCurrent Queensland C Class Drivers LicenceThis is an opportunity to take ownership of a key Information Management function and work across business and technology to improve how information is governed, managed and used.
