Diverse construction projects across multiple locationsTake ownership of site delivery, programme, subcontractors & safetyMust be willing to travel and work away on project sitesGold Coast Based | Projects Across Multiple Locations | Travel RequiredWe are recruiting experienced Site Supervisors on behalf of an established Gold Coast-based construction business with a strong pipeline of projects across multiple locations.This opportunity will suit a capable Supervisor who enjoys variety, autonomy and taking genuine ownership of site delivery.While the business is based on the Gold Coast, this is not a Gold Coast-only site role.Projects can be located regionally, remotely and interstate, so you must be genuinely willing and able to travel and work away from home as projects require.The position specifically requires Supervisors who are comfortable travelling and working on remote construction sites.The Role Reporting into the project delivery team, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management and successful delivery of allocated construction sites.Key responsibilities include:Managing day-to-day construction activities on siteDriving programme and key project milestonesCoordinating subcontractors, suppliers and site personnelManaging labour, equipment, materials and site logisticsReading and interpreting drawings and specificationsMonitoring subcontractor performance and scope complianceWorking closely with Project Managers on budgets and project performanceMaintaining site documentation,



QA records and progress reportingEnsuring compliance with building standards and legislative requirementsManaging safety, environmental and quality requirementsLeading site teams and maintaining strong subcontractor relationshipsLiaising professionally with clients and project stakeholdersProactively resolving site issues to keep projects movingThe role has responsibility across site delivery, programme, subcontractor management, quality and SHEQ compliance.About YouWe'd like to speak with experienced Supervisors who have:Certificate IV in Building & Construction or equivalent experienceSite Supervisor's Licence and White CardStrong building/construction industry experienceProven experience leading site teams and subcontractorsStrong programming, planning and coordination skillsUnderstanding of site administration and project documentationSound safety, quality and environmental knowledgeAbility to work autonomously and make confident decisions on siteStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsA proactive, organised and solutions-focused approachFlexibility to regularly travel and work away from the Gold Coast, including remote project locations – essentialThe position calls for a minimum of four years' post-apprenticeship or eight years' building/construction industry experience.The OpportunityThis is an opportunity to join a well-established Gold Coast construction business with a diverse pipeline and projects that will take you beyond the local market.If you're based on the Gold Coast or surrounding areas, enjoy taking ownership of your sites and are genuinely comfortable working away, we'd be keen to hear from you.
