BMR Piping & Civil is offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced and driven Estimator, to join our team.
This is a role suited to someone who understands piping & civil projects, can price work competitively, and enjoys building client relationships and securing future opportunities.
About the Role
This is a hands-on estimating role for someone who knows how to execute estimates, manage tenders and help win work.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing tender submissions from initial review through to submission
Preparing cost estimates and pricing for piping and civil projects
Coordinating subcontractor and supplier pricing
Supporting contract negotiations and project handover to operations teams
Contributing to business growth strategy and market positioning
Leverage industry relationships to identify opportunities and support business growth.
Build and maintain robust supplier and subcontractor networks.
Develop methodologies, qualifications, assumptions and clarification registers.
Identify commercial risks and opportunities.
Improve estimating systems, cost libraries and benchmarking.
About You
We are looking for someone who brings:
Strong understanding of tendering processes
Commercial acumen and strong negotiation skills
Ability to build and maintain client relationships
Strong communication and organisational skills




Proven track record of successful tendering and contract negotiation
Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, materials, and cost estimation
Tertiary qualification in a relevant field, such as engineering, construction management, or quantity surveying
Familiarity with mining construction regulations and compliance requirements
