About the Role
As Manager Reconstruction Claims and Payments, you will oversee the administration of the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA) for infrastructure reconstruction, ensuring funding is delivered quickly, effectively and in compliance with relevant requirements.
You will lead governance,financial managementand assurance processes, while managing reporting systems for both DRFA and non-DRFA programs.
The roleis responsible forreviewing and processing claims from delivery agencies and local councils, supporting audit and assurance activities, andmaintainingrobust claims and payment systems.
You will also work closely with stakeholders to promote a clear understanding of funding guidelines and lead strategic initiatives that strengthen systems,processesand operational outcomes.
About You
You'llbring a strong background in financial program management and a commitment to public service delivery.
Ideally, you will have:
Extensive experience managing funding allocations and financial systems in complex environments.
Familiarity with bi-lateral funding arrangements, particularly DRFA.
Proven ability to lead governance, assurance, and reporting functions.
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Experience designing and implementing financial processes and systems.
Proven leadership experience, including coaching,



developing and motivating high-performing teams.
Essential Requirements
Tertiary qualification in accounting, finance or a related field and CPA/CA qualified or equivalent funding program management experience.
