Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Storeperson / Forklift Operator to join our client and assist with the day-to-day operation of their stores facility.

The client is a contractor working within the electricity and power infrastructure industry, with the materials and equipment primarily supporting powerline maintenance and related works.

Location: Maryborough, QLD

About the Role
n
This is a varied, hands-on position involving general stores duties, stock management and material collection.
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Receiving, checking and storing materials and equipment
n
Maintaining stock levels and keeping the store organised
n
Picking and preparing materials for work crews
n
Loading and unloading materials using a forklift
n
Collecting materials from local supplier and client stores
n
General stock control and inventory management
n
Maintaining a safe, clean and organised work workplace
n
Assisting with other general stores duties as required
n
n
About You
n
We are looking for someone who is:
n
n
Reliable, organised and punctual
n
Comfortable working independently
n
Physically fit and capable of manual handling
n
Experienced in stores, warehousing or a similar environment
n
Holds a current forklift licence (LF)
n
Holds a current truck licence
n
Safety-conscious and attentive to detail
n
A team player with a positive, can-do attitude
n
n
Experience in the electrical, utilities, construction or civil industries will be highly regarded, but is not essential.
n
