We are currently seeking a skilled Chef or Cook to join our dynamic team at Brunch n Brew Lake Munmorah, located at 275 Pacific Hwy, Lake Munmorah NSW 2259. The ideal candidate will have experience in the culinary industry and possess a passion for delivering delicious and high-quality dishes.
This role involves a range of responsibilities focused on food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
Key responsibilities /n

Preparing and cooking food
/n
Planning menus, estimating food and labour costs, and ordering food supplies
/n
Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation
/n
Discussing food preparation issues with Managers, Dietitians and kitchen and waiting staff
/n
Demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures
/n
Explaining and enforcing hygiene regulations
/n
Select and train staff
/n
Freeze and preserve foods
/n
About you /n
/n
A minimum of one years of culinary experience
/n
A minimum of Cert IV level qualification, diploma preferable
/n
Thorough understanding of health and safety standards in the kitchen, including food handling and sanitation practices
/n
Proficient in culinary techniques and adept in operating kitchen equipment and tools
/n
Meticulous in food preparation and presentation, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality dishes
/n
Capable of interpreting recipes and menu plans accurately and creatively
/n
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented kitchen setting
/n
Valuable physical stamina, capable of working in a rapid-paced kitchen and standing for long hours
