Dominique Portet Winery is seeking enthusiastic and professional Wait Staff to join our team in the Yarra Valley.

Key responsibilities
Greeting guests warmly and seating them in designated areas
Taking food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
Serving meals and beverages with professionalism and attention to detail
Providing knowledgeable recommendations about our wine selection and menu offerings
Clearing tables promptly and maintaining a clean and tidy dining environment
Processing payments and handling cash or card transactions responsibly
Supporting kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow
Responding to guest requests and resolving any concerns with courtesy and diplomacy
Adhering to health and safety standards and food handling procedures
What we're looking for
Previous experience in wait staff or hospitality service roles (preferred but not essential)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage guests warmly
Strong attention to detail and accuracy when taking orders and serving
Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods and carry items safely
Reliability and punctuality,
with flexibility to work casual shifts including weekends and evenings
Knowledge of wine, food, and beverage service etiquette (training provided if needed)
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a rapid-paced environment
Customer-focused mindset with a genuine passion for delivering exceptional service
Willingness to learn and adapt to our service standards and procedures
